516 Celebration Anniversary of AEUEDU-Asia Euro Postgraduate School.
At 2:30PM on May 16, 2026, Asia Euro Postgraduate School proudly celebrated its first anniversary at Yue Rong Zhuang in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. More than 500 distinguished guests from government, academia, and the business community gathered to commemorate this significant milestone.
The presence of two Secretaries of State from the Kingdom of Cambodia underscored the significance of the celebration in advancing higher education and international cooperation. H.E. Qing Lian, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Information, and H.E. Liu Qiaoling, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Commerce, honored the occasion alongside distinguished leaders from government, academia, and the business community.
The opening ceremony reached its first highlight with keynote remarks from H.E. Dr. Qing Lian, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Information of the Kingdom of Cambodia. He emphasized that Cambodia’s future will be shaped not only by industry and policy, but by the leaders cultivated in today’s classrooms.
H.E. Duke Ly Kunthai, Chairman of the Board of Asia Euro University, also delivered an inspiring address. He emphasized that Cambodia needs not only more workers, but more leaders—individuals capable of shaping the nation’s future rather than simply following global trends. He described the anniversary not as a celebration of past achievements, but as a declaration of the vision ahead.
A key highlight of the celebration was the signing of six international Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs), covering digital innovation, executive education, new media, academic talent development, cross-border investment, and alumni business collaboration. Spanning Taiwan, Malaysia, Cambodia, and Mainland China, these strategic partnerships marked a significant milestone in expanding Asia Euro Postgraduate School’s presence across Greater China and ASEAN, creating new opportunities for international collaboration and future growth.
The celebration also marked the inauguration of three institutional centers, reinforcing the School’s strategic focus on industry collaboration, alumni development, and entrepreneurship. The newly established centers—AEU CIARI (Industry–Academia Innovation & Research Center), AEU ABEA (Business Alumni Enterprise Association), and AEU CVID (Center for Venture Investment Development).
The inauguration of these three centers marked a significant milestone. Together, they will strengthen strategic partnerships, support the School’s international development, and contribute to Cambodia’s economic growth and sustainable progress.
Ms. Liu Kaili, Executive Director, delivered a keynote titled “Uniting Business Leaders, Shaping the Future,” where she emphasized the importance of bringing visionary leaders together to build a stronger and more sustainable business landscape.
Prof. Luo Xinzhong delivered a keynote on “Government–Business Integration and Industrial Development: The Value and Uniqueness of Business Schools,” Drawing on real-world ASEAN market insights, the speakers shared forward-looking strategies to help business leaders navigate emerging opportunities and challenges.
The forum also marked the official launch of the 2026 ASEAN Business Competitiveness White Paper, focusing on cross-border investment, digital finance, and the green economy, attracting strong interest from the business community.
Dr. Qiu Guoping presented a keynote titled *“The New Era of Globalization: From Going Global to Glocalization,“*offering valuable insights into the evolving global landscape. He highlighted how businesses can achieve sustainable growth by combining a global vision with strong local strategies in an increasingly interconnected world.
The evening celebration blended traditional and contemporary performances, creating a memorable cultural experience for all guests. An elegant fan dance showcased the grace and beauty of Eastern culture, while vibrant Cambodian traditional music and dance celebrated the nation’s rich heritage, reflecting the spirit, warmth, and aspirations of its people.
The celebration concluded with a spectacular finale as more than a thousand guests joined in a powerful chorus of Descendants of the Dragon. Accompanied by cold pyrotechnics and a stunning light show, the performance created an unforgettable atmosphere of unity and celebration.
More than a cultural showcase, the evening strengthened friendships, deepened connections, and reflected the shared spirit of collaboration among all participants.
